Challenges with

Administration & Manual Processes

Prior to implementing Uncommon Giving software, Vibe Credit Union faced significant challenges in optimizing its volunteering program:
1
Administrative tasks such as managing demographic files were labor-intensive and prone to errors, hindering the efficiency of its operations.
2
Vibe struggled to provide a centralized location for employees to access information regarding upcoming volunteer events and tracking their volunteering history.
3
Difficulty in keeping employees engaged and actively checking for volunteer opportunities.
Transformation with

Uncommon Giving Software

Following the implementation of Uncommon Giving software in the fall of 2023, Vibe Credit Union experienced a notable transformation in its volunteering program:

The introduction of Uncommon Giving was received with positive feedback from both employees and managers.

Uncommon Giving’s intuitive mobile and desktop applications provided a seamless experience, enhancing employee engagement and participation.

Employees gained comprehensive visibility into all scheduled volunteer events hosted by the Vibe team.

The platform facilitated easy tracking of volunteer hours, enabling employees to monitor their impact and contribute effectively to community initiatives.

Additionally, features such as photo uploads enhanced the engagement and storytelling aspects of volunteering, enriching the overall experience for participants.

From an administrative standpoint, Uncommon Giving streamlined processes by automating tasks such as demographic file management. Vibe found the new automatic reminders and notifications very helpful to everyone on the team. Whether showcasing its commitment to social responsibility to potential hires, members, or the broader community, Uncommon Giving facilitated seamless communication of Vibe volunteering endeavors.

"We are excited to make our purpose and values a reality. These aren’t words on a wall but who we are and what we do. As a credit union, we have a unique ability to help others overcome barriers and truly elevate the lives of those around us.”
