Upon checkout, donors have the option to cover any merchant services fees for their transaction. For each donation received, Uncommon Giving collects a platform fee of 2% from the nonprofit. Certain other fees may also apply. See our Terms and Conditions for more information.
After registering your nonprofit, you will receive an email from Uncommon Giving requesting your IRS determination letter. We’ll verify your organization and email your login credentials before you can begin customizing your profile. This multi-step verification process offers protection for nonprofits and gives businesses and donors confidence that their gifts make it to the right place.
Uncommon Giving securely transfers any gifts received for your nonprofit via ACH (or a mailed check) twice a month.
All ACH information on our platform is protected inside a payment card industry (PCI) compliant, tokenized environment. Uncommon Giving does not have access to your personal information—in other words, your account data is secure! We also use GIACT, a market leader in scanning donor and nonprofit information for fraud and risk prevention.
